Rewilding Europe aims to rewild one million hectares of land by 2020, creating 10 magnificent wildlife and wilderness areas of international quality. We will especially focus on Europe’s huge areas of abandoned land, and on providing a viable business case for wild nature.

Sunday, March 4, 2012 the last day of the Spring breake.

I took a trip with the kids for a ice skate trip on lake Mälaren within Västerås city.

Beautiful ice conditions, delicious temperatures and beautiful “artic” ice landscape! This is Västerås and lake Mälaren at her best! The swept path of over 25 kilometres is a lust for any ice skating enthusiast. The pictures say it all ….:

How did the guests entertained theirselves during the spring break at Eden Garden …?

This time we welcomed two Dutch families. Despite the unusual mild winter and spring-like weather, did our guests have a enjoyable-, and a great time!

A summary…:

Hiking, ice skating, ice fishing, grilling, visit the silver mine, bathing in the hot tub, spa with massage, shopping in Västerås and Sala, more grilling, hug the animals, look at planets-, stars, – and the northern lights, good night sleep, good food, etc…

Edens Garden as home base, and several trips to nearby destinations, among…:

• Sala Silver mine;
• Sätra Brunn kur & spa;
• Västerås centrum;
• Sala;
• Måns Öls;
• Björnö stug- & aktivitetcenter (ice fishing – Thanks André ! );
