Svartådalen is Historically a farming area, it still possesses a wealth of forests, lakes, hay meadows and open wetlands. The city of Västerås to the Mälaren-achipellago has appeal and good restaurants. Nearby do you find other places of interest. The glowing brass of Skultuna is world-famous and Skultuna celebrate it’s 400 years existence in the year 2007! The silver mine of Sala is a term of speaking in the surroundings. The quiet witnesses of the historical iron complex in Ängelsberg is almost enchanting.
The region Västmanland is easy to reach and there is never a problem with the traffic. The low budget airline RYAN Air flies every day from London Stansted Airport to Västerås Airport (VST). You can rent a car and going on with your journey. Perfect for a short break, holiday or for a longer term.
