Zondag 4 maart 2012 nog even er op uit, tijdens de laatste dag van de krokusvakantie.
Nu dus een uitstapje met de kinderen voor een schaatstochtje op het Mälaren aan Västerås stad.
Prachtige schaatsomstandigheden, heerlijke temperatuur en schitterend ijslandschap! Dit is Västerås met haar Mälaren op haar best! De geveegde baan van ruim 25 kilometer is een lust voor elke schaatsliefhebber. Kortom, de foto’s zeggen genoeg….:
Hoe hebben de gasten zich vermaakt tijdens de krokusvakantie op Eden Garden …?
Deze keer hebben we twee Nederlandse gezinnen te gast gehad. Ondanks de ongebruikelijke milde winter en het voorjaarsachtige weer, hebben de gasten een mooie-, en geweldige tijd gehad!
Een samenvatting …:
Wandelen, schaatsen, ijsvissen, grillen, bezoeken aan de zilvermijn, baden in de hot tub, hele dag spa met massage, shoppen in Västerås en Sala, nog meer grillen, de dieren aaien, kijken naar planeten-, sterren,- én het noorderlicht, goede nachtrust, én uitslapen, lekker eten, etc. ….
Edens Garden als basis, en uitstapjes naar de diverse nabijgelegen bestemmingen, waaronder:

Just one day at Edens Garden….
Filled with work-, the animals and smiling children doing some ice skating! It is making me extremely happy and I hope this happiness spreads around….
This evening I made pictures of the constellation Jupiter, our Moon and Venus. This is very nice and good visible now just after sunset in the north-west. Left from the moon is Jupiter and right under the moon it is Venus. I tried also to make some experimental pictures of “Orion”,- the “Orion Nebula”,- and a part of our “Milky Way”. Unfortunaly are these pictures not very sharp.
But despite my minimal skills on night photography, I realized that our Universe is Magic!
The age of science has failed to explain our universe in rational terms. Consequently the power of magic has gradually emerged from our conscious minds to fathom the unfathomable. Our most distinguished scientists reluctantly admit, that mankind is nothing but some billion creatures, sitting on a piece of solar driftwood floating in space.
Magic is the art of influencing the cause of events by the intervention of spiritual forces or some other occult device. According to arthur c. clarke any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Early civilization often mistook the unexplainable world around them to be magic.
Rupert sheldrake in his book “seven experiments that could change the world” has stated that scientist’s attitude toward their experiments affect the results of their experiments. There is no such thing as a definite fact in science and therefore the irrationality of magic plays an important part in our rational world. Werner heisenberg, the leading 20th. century physicist has stated, that mass is a physical interpretation of energy. Religious organizations have understood the power of magic; and therefore monopolized the interpretation of the supernatural to control the human mind. The universe as a whole is beyond explanation.
Only at the end of the 20th century the roman catholic church admitted, that the great visionary Galileo Galilei was, in fact, correct. The second millennium has come to an end.
Scientists have to admit that the Universe is magic.
