Clouds seems almost to disturb this last nights magical wonder, but sudden the magic happens….
It was not only the ‘blood moon’ that dominated last night’s sky. Even Venus lit up the disappearing clouds with her strong white bright light. Lower on the eastern horizon was even Mars and Jupiter with 3 moons visible! Stunning!!!
(I did not managed to get a good pic on Mars unfortunately)…
During summer 2014 was our region affected by Sweden’s largest wildfire in modern history. It encompassed over 15,000 hectares and was located northwest of Sala in a big part of our region in Svartådalen. The wildfire threatened also the local citizens, farmers, villages, businesses and even the UNESCO World Heritage Site Engelsberg Ironworks.
>> Here << you can read our blog what was going on the days during the wild fire.
Now is nature, wildlife and the local citizens recovering from this very traumatic event. Right now evolves a complete new nature and wildlife in this region. In collaboration with Visit Svartådalen – De Wilde Outdoor – Edens Garden B&B and Hofvander Taxi & Buss we can guide you through this region. We are trained guides with local knowledge and have personal experiences from this large wildfire. We can customize our guided tours from 2 persons until 47 persons.
Guided tours can be given in the language in Dutch, English and Swedish. Please contact us if you are interested.
Laughter, joy, warmth and light during the dark November days.
Despite the gray gloomy wet November weather, bustles Edens Garden B&B with activities. Geocaching, delicious grilled meal, and a dip in the 40dgr Celsius warm wooden bath tub. This all in collaboration with Edens Garden B&B and André Axelsson – ‘Lakeside Adventure’.
